Therefore it is not surprising that in place of Sodom and Gomorrah, there was nothing left but ashes. Over time, plain, located well below the level of the World Ocean, filled waters of the Jordan and in the place of the great cities of the Dead Sea was formed. Due to the extreme salinity in it nothing can live.
